Physiatry is a discipline of modern medicine specializing in physical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This discipline is dedicated to the diagnosis, medical treatment and rehabilitation of all patients, regardless of their age, with neuromusculoskeletal pathologies and related disabilities. It will take into account all the biological, psychological and somatic (physical) aspects of an individual in suffering by reducing, as far as possible, any handicap preventing him from being integrated harmoniously into society.
